Enrollment Services:
Enrollment in The Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama is open to any person(s) who can show proof of direct lineage to a Cherokee ancestor. We DO NOT accept DNA as proof of being Cherokee. The applicant must do their genealogy and fully complete the application process to be considered for enrollment. A processing fee of $45 is required and is non-refundable whether the applicant is enrolled with the tribe or not. (Incomplete applications will be rejected.)

Indian Census Rolls 1885-1940- The Indian Census Rolls 1885-1940 contains census rolls that were usually submitted each year by agents or superintendents in charge of Indian reservations.
